If you prefer to use your own E-mail program (e.g. Outlook) rather than our SiteMail, then please refer to the instructions below.
If you wish to use smtp.yourdomain.com as your Outgoing Server name, you will need to enable Port 25. Click here for more info.
Regardless of which client you use, the settings are the same. For each client, you are required to enter:
The incoming (POP) mail server name: pop.yourdomain.com
The outgoing (SMTP) mail server name: smtp.yourdomain.com
The E-mail account user name: myaddress@yourdomain.com (the full E-maill address)
The E-mail account password: the_password_you_selected_for_this_E-mail_account
When prompted to authenticate your outgoing (SMTP) server, click Yes or check its box. You must do this in order for your client to send E-mail using our mail servers.
Using the example domain, yourdomain.com, the settings would be:
The incoming (POP) mail server name: pop.yourdomain.com
The outgoing (SMTP) mail server name: smtp.yourdomain.com
The E-mail account user name: johndoe@yourdomain.com
The E-mail account password: ********
